  1. How do i properly pack my boxes?

  2. Where do I get labels for my boxes?

    3. Download storage labels from here. Please read the how to pack guide to make sure you attach them properly.


  3. Can I buy packing materials without storing them?

    4. Yes. You may purchase any of the boxes/materials and we will deliver them to your door for free.


  4. What methods of payment do you accept?

    5. Cash, check, or credit card. (Credit cards will be charged an additional $10 processsing fee on all orders.


  5. Can I store items that won't fit in a box?

    6. Rock Student Storage can store most items not fitting in a box. Please visit our how to pack list on how to prepare these items for storage. WE DO NOT STORE LOFTS.


  6. When do I get billed?

    7. All ordered materials must be paid for in full at the time of drop off with cash, check, or credit card. The full amount for storage is due at the time of pickup from your dorm.


  7. How do I get my packing materials?

    8. Call Rock Student Storage at 517.316.9393 at least three weeks prior to move out. All ordered materials will be delivered to your door at a scheduled appointment time.


  8. How do you track the items stored?

    9. All customers receive a detailed inventory list of all the items that were signed in on pick-up. Upon redlivery in the Fall, the inventory list is re-checked and signed.


  9. Do you pick-up and deliver off campus?

    10. Yes. Rock Student Storage will pick-up your items whether you live in a dorm of off campus in an apartment or house. All deliveries in the Fall will also be back to your door.


  10. Can I pull my items out of storage early?

    11. We work with RA's and student athletes to ensure their stored items are available for early arrival. Notification at the time of package pickup is a must. Students moving in early must notify the movers by checking the box marked "early move-in" on your inventory checklist. If a box is not marked when the checklist is signed you will be subject to early delivery fees. Items can be removed from storage over the summer, however, there is a $50 fee to pull items from the warehouse and a $125 dollar fee for early delivery.
